Balayage or highlights?

3 min read · Shahedeh Salon, Westchase

Highlights are placed in foils in a regular pattern close to the root. The result is even and bright, and it needs a touch-up every six to ten weeks.

Balayage is painted by hand on the surface of the hair. It's softer at the root and brighter at the ends, so it grows out without a hard line. Many guests come back every three to four months.

Choose highlights for all-over brightness if you don't mind regular visits. Choose balayage for a sun-kissed look with less upkeep. Not sure? Pull a few shades from our swatch ring and text us a photo of your hair today.
